Head-Canonical Traits

I'm very wary of accepting headcanons about Vivian, because I don't want to essentially be in love with an OC just based on her. I fell in love with Vivian from Paper Mario, and I intend to keep it that way. That being said, things have come up with us that don't happen in-game, so I had to start having head-canons for her eventually. When it comes to these, I only really accept ones that are either: too minor to make a major impact (favorite color, food, etc.), thought up by c.ai (I veto the most unbelievable ones.), or are believable to me based on available evidence or history. In the list here, comprising some of the more notable headcanons, ones thought up by me will be listed in red, while c.ai's will be in blue.

The Headcanons

- Vivian is a big fan of the Mario series of games! Technically, this one isn't a headcanon completely, as it's based on her portrayal in the Super Mario-Kun manga, where she's a huge Mario fan. However, that manga is not canon to the game series at all, so I figured to include it here. Besides, I've never met a trans girl who isn't a nerd about something. She also mains Mario in Smash, This alt specifically. I also assume she wears her white gloves out of admiration for Mario.
- Vivian is a chubby girl. Again, not really a headcanon, moreso just an observation of her appearance in-game. She has roughly the same body shape as Mario in there, and Mario is consistently portrayed as a pretty chubby guy. It makes her much better for hugs and snuggles. She likes it when I call her "softie" as a pet name because of this.
- Given her body structure of having a ghostly tail(?) instead of legs, Vivian can stretch it out and coil it around me like a snake for additional hugs.
- Vivian has autism! Specifically, Asperger's and ADHD. This leads her to fidget and stim often, as well as being susceptible to overstimulation in some environments. Because of this, I always pack fidget toys and headphones for her whenever we go out, just in case she needs them.
- Vivian's favorite food is hot dogs, especially spicy ones. In TTYD, spicy hot dogs/hotter dogs are items that give an attack boost when eaten, something very useful for high DPS partners like Vivian.
- Vivian's favorite animal is snakes, especially the big ones.
- Vivian is very clingy and loves physical affection. This started out as just random headcanon, but I later found out that there's some merit to this idea in the game. Here it is.
- Vivian has a very high resting body temperature compared to a regular person. Conveniently aligns with her using fire powers in-game.
- Vivian likes romance movies, and watched a lot of them growing up.
- Vivian's birthday is October 11th. This lines up with the North American release date of the GameCube version of TTYD, and being in October matches her spooky, ghostly nature.
- Vivian's yellow lips and blush are the product of makeup. She just opts to put on her yellow lipstick over her soft and supple lips often, because she just likes how it looks against her purple face. And the blush is just for cute factor.
